As a leader of Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation, Europe (NIDO-Europe), which is comprised of 23 Chapters in 21 European countries, the European arm of NIDO, a global network of organizations initiated by the Federal Government of Nigeria in the year 2000, to represent the interests of all Nigerians in the Diaspora in national development my leadership introduced Electronic voting.
NIDO, historically the largest African Diaspora network of organizations in the world, includes NIDO Americas, NIDO Europe, NIDO Asia, NIDO Oceania, and NIDO Africa, registered as continental Nigerians in Diaspora organizations (Federal Republic of Nigeria Official Gazette No. 67, Vol.104, NIDCOM Act). My leadership carried out series of reforms, including the introduction of electronic voting during the Organization’s AGM 2020 in Dortmund Grammy, with excellent organizational and democratic outcome.
Today Electronic voting is a standard in the largest African Diaspora network of organizations worldwide. As a Senator representing Delta North, Gbandi is bringing Global Leadership Experience & Networking to ANIOMA, including global best legislative practices in making Delta North the best destination for global smart investments.
