As Dieter F. Uchtdorf once said, “As we lose ourselves in the service of others, we discover our own lives and our own happiness.”
In 2016, The Voice Achievers Award Organizers, in The Netherlands honoured our Diaspora engagement with „Diaspora Man of the Year 2016“Award, citing service to the Diaspora and Nigeria as their key consideration.
In 2018, I was again honoured with the Maiden Cover page of an International Magazine, “U-Rock Magazine “published in Dublin, Ireland on it’s very Maiden Edition as the European Continental Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora organization.
In 2019, I was again honoured by Ghana-Nigeria Diaspora organization with the “Diaspora Man of the Year 2019” Award, citing service to the Diaspora and Nigeria as their key consideration.
As we round up 2020, I am delighted as I am again honoured with yet another Cover Page of an International Magazine. The prestigious “Schengen Story Magazine “published in Italy. I also doubled as the Magazine’s Man of the Year 2020.
My gratitude to the publisher and Editorial Board of Schengen Story International Magazine for considering me worthy for its Special December Edition and for choosing me as the Man of the Year 2020, from over 20 Million Nigerians in Diaspora, majority of whom are trailblazers in the areas of Medicine, Finance, project Management, Youths Capacity Building, Real Estate, Shipping, Information Communication Technology, Minning, Agriculture, Energy, Health, Transportation, Culture, Travel & Tourism, Migration & Development, Climate Change & Environment waste management, Urban Transportation Planning, Sports etc.
The vast knowledge of Nigerians in Diaspora acquired over the Years, majority of them, Global trailblazers are needed now more than ever before for social economic and political transformation of Nigeria of our dream from the grassroot levels, and to foster good Governance and international best practices in our beloved country Nigeria.
Thank God that we now have visionary Leadership of a political party in Nigeria that recognizes these Diaspora potentials and I wish to use this opportunity to challenge my fellow Diaspora to join hands in the project “Mission Rescue Nigeria “.
It’s time to walk the talk.
Remember “Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.” Howard Zinn
