Hon. Kenneth Chibuogwu Gbandi, former senatorial candidate for Delta North and Director General of Diaspora Affairs at AAAI, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty Chukwunonso Justin Oreze Nwoko IV, the esteemed Obi of Idumuje Ugboko, on the historic occasion of receiving the staff of office presented by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Gbandi described the event as a momentous milestone not just for His Majesty but for the entire Idumuje Ugboko community and the broader Anioma nation. He emphasized that this achievement reflects the rich cultural heritage, unity, and enduring strength of the Anioma people.
Recalling their meeting during his 2023 senatorial campaign and a follow-up medical outreach with his German partners, Hon. Gbandi expressed how deeply moved he was by the monarch’s hospitality, grace, wisdom, and dignified presence. He especially remembered the Obi’s kind interaction with Dr. Frank Horbach, head of the Gbandi Care Medical Outreach, who was quite nervous at the palace. The Obi’s amiable demeanor helped ease Dr. Horbach’s anxiety, wrote Dr. Frank Horbach in his memo.
Gbandi highlighted the Obi’s palace as a beacon of tradition and a testament to the ancient grandeur of the Anioma heritage. He also praised the monarch for his fatherly support and prayers for all Anioma sons and daughters, which left a lasting impression of his compassionate and exemplary leadership.
In celebrating this new chapter of His Majesty’s reign, Hon. Gbandi reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Obi’s vision of unity, progress, and inclusive development. He expressed confidence that the leadership of HRM Nwoko IV would inspire prosperity and strengthen the bonds of peace across Idumuje Ugboko and the Anioma region.
“May your reign continue to be long, fruitful, and a blessing to your people,” Gbandi concluded, joining well-wishers around the world in honoring this historic achievement.
Long live the King!
