On July 27, 2024, the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the upcoming World Igbo Culture and Language Summit was officially inaugurated in Asaba, Delta State. The event was held under the ddistinguished chairmanship of Sir Mike Okiro, IGP (rtd, CFR, mni), a respected leader known for his deep commitment to national development. The inauguration also honored HRM Prof. L. Nwoboshi, the Obuzor of Ibuzor Kingdom, who was present as the father of the day.
