Eleazar Chibuzor Gbandi hails from Umu-Onai quarters in Akwukwu-Igbo, he holds a Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering, a B.Sc Degree in Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), an MSc in Business Administration, Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and PhD in Business Administration.
He is presently An Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Benin. He had held several managerial positions which including Acting DGM (Marketing) Lagos Zone, Senior Manager Marketing; Senior Manager Corporate Accounts; Manager Customer Services; Manager Business, and Manager Credit control in the defunct Government own company, Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) before joining the academia. He taught at Benson Idahosa University (BIU) between 2011 and 2015 before joining the University of Benin in 2015.
His areas of specialization are; Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Generally Management. He is a member of The Academy of Management Nigeria (TAMN). He is also a Research Fellow of INTL International University, Malaysia
